About Me
Outgoing and enthusiastic, Savannah is a people person who loves nothing more than spending time with her friends and family. She is also passionate about music. Savannah has been taking voice lessons for 11 years and has participated in choir and musical theater her whole life. Other hobbies include playing the piano, reading fantasy novels and watching historical dramas.
Having grown up in a military family, Savannah has already lived in 5 states; Washington, Virginia, California, Colorado and Iowa. Moving so much has given her insatiable wanderlust.
Savannah is on track to graduate in May 2019 with a B.A. in Public Relations and a minor in music. She has already written multiple articles and blog posts that have been published at her internships with The Denver Center for the Performing Arts and Willie Ripple Events.

Not So Fragile Documentary
A six person group senior Capstone project: a documentary about a local family’s experience with Fragile X Syndrome. As the operations manager and interviewer, I was the liaison between Kai Productions and the interviewees, created the production schedule, conducted all interviews seen on screen, wrote multiple blog posts, created a radio ad, wrote the voiceover and a press release that appeared in several papers in Northeastern Iowa.

St. Paul's Church and School
I was part of a team that created integrated marketing campaigns for various events at the church and school. As the copywriter, I wrote press releases, radio ads and created social media plans, in addition to helping film videos, conduct interviews and design posters.
January 2018 - April 2018
Irah Sturdevant House
I oversaw the production of a documentary they are using to gain donors. I wrote the voiceover, conducted the interviews and helped film and edit the footage.
September 2017 - December 2017
S.M.A.R.T
I helped design an integrated marketing campaign for this Wartburg College campus organization. I designed a brochure, a direct mail piece, created a Facebook page and tracked the analytics, and wrote a press release that made it into the school’s newspaper The Trumpet.
